Eight swimmers are ready for the "doping Olympics". Swedish swimming star Sarah Sjöström is not happy with this. What I wish is that they don't get so much media attention because they don't deserve it, she tells SVT Sport.

The competition where doping is allowed is actually called "The Enhanced Games" and the first edition will be held in May next year in Las Vegas, USA.

It's very unfortunate. But there are some who have chosen to invest money because they find it exciting to see how good an athlete can become with the help of all the illegal means, Sarah Sjöström tells SVT.

One of those who has chosen to participate in the event is Briton Ben Proud, who won Olympic silver last year and a World Championship silver in August.

"What I wish is that they don't get so much media attention because they don't deserve it. The problem is that if they get media attention, maybe there will be even more money for these athletes who choose to join," says Sjöström.

The winners in each event receive 2.4 million kronor, but if a participant runs a world record time in the short distance swimming or the 100 meter run, a bonus of approximately 9.5 million kronor awaits.
