The Social Democrats' solutions are job contracts and trainee programmes.
Much more needs to be done to ensure that young people have good conditions at the start of their working lives, Shekarabi says at a press conference.
The job contract is a promise to young people of work, education or an internship within 90 days. The trainee programmes are aimed at recent graduates and are created through collaboration between the state, municipalities and the business community.
"It is our task to ensure that people have the conditions to get their first job. We must turn the tide," he says.
