There are a lot of people out on the ice, a lot of people, says Marie Nordahl from the rescue service to Expressen.
The three victims were helped out of the water by private individuals and were examined on site by an ambulance.
The accident occurred on the ice at Norr Mälarstrand on a broken ice channel with open water.
Don't get too close to it, says Marie Nordahl.
The alarm about the accident came at noon on Sunday.
Several ice accidents have occurred in Stockholm recently, and last week the police warned the public against stepping on Lake Mälaren's ice inside the city.
Facts: Ice safety
TT
Never be alone on the ice.
Always carry ice cleats and other safety equipment with you.
Never walk on ice unless you are sure it will hold. Always test with an ice pick if you are unsure.
Watch out for weaker points at, for example, outlets, inlets, straits, shallows, drains, rough seas, reeds, jetties, bridges, headlands, ice flumes and at areas that have been kept open by wind (wind wells).
The higher your speed, the farther out you can go on weak ice before it breaks.
Always let someone know where you are going and when you will return.
