Several people have also been shot in Gaza, according to Palestinian reports.
The Civil Defense in the Hamas-ruled strip reports that three civilians have been killed. According to Israel, the military has fired warning shots and hit Palestinians who approached Israeli soldiers in the eastern parts of Gaza City.
"Anyone who enters the buffer zone will pay for it," says Israel's Defense Minister Israel Katz in a statement, warning Gazans not to approach the soldiers.
