North Korea has fired several ballistic missiles towards the Yellow Sea, according to South Korea's military on Monday morning Swedish time.
It is unclear what type of ballistic missiles are involved.
South Korea reports that they were fired from the North Korean west coast, at the same time as South Korea and the USA begin their annual joint military exercises on Monday.
