Seasonal influenza is on the way around the country, reports Göteborgs-Posten.
We see that it is starting to emerge more and more, says Anna Székely, research leader for the Swedish University of Agricultural Sciences, SLU's, measurements.
SLU conducts measurements in the sewage water at 19 locations around Sweden. Seasonal influenza has now been detected at half of the locations.
The levels are quite low but it is a signal that it is slowly starting, says Anna Székely to GP.
