The average forecast was for price increases of 1.3 percent.
Compared with June last year, the price increase is 7.4 percent, which can be compared with the annual increase of 6.6 percent in May.
"Despite PPI's almost unchanged monthly change in June, the annual rate of 7.4 percent indicates an upward trend," says Carl Mårtensson, price statistician at Statistics Sweden, in a press release.
