SBAB Reduces Mortgage and Savings Interest Rates

The state-owned mortgage bank SBAB is lowering the interest rates on mortgages with three months and one year binding periods.

Even savings interest rates are being lowered by SBAB.

The interest rate on variable mortgages, with a three-month binding period, is being lowered by 0.22 percentage points. The interest rate for mortgages with a one-year binding period is being lowered by 0.10 percentage points. SBAB is leaving other mortgage interest rates unchanged at the same time, writes SBAB in a press release.

The variable savings interest rate for private customers is being lowered by 0.25 percentage points to 1.60 percent. Also for companies, the variable savings interest rate is being lowered by 0.25 percentage points.
