Mohamsson has reported to police that she received threats after wearing a Star of David around her neck during a party leadership debate in mid-August.
"I think it is an important principle to report threats and hatred," says Mohamsson, who does not want to say how the threat has affected her.
I wore the Star of David because I think it is an important point to make as a political representative, she says.
The Security Service has launched a preliminary investigation.
A preliminary investigation has been initiated and the suspicion is unlawful threats, says Gabriel Wernstedt, press secretary at Säpo, to SVT.
Wernstedt does not say whether there is a suspect or if anyone has been detained.
