This follows Mohamsson's report to police that she had received threats after wearing a Star of David around her neck during a party leadership debate in mid-August.
A preliminary investigation has been initiated and the suspicion is illegal threats, says Gabriel Wernstedt, press secretary at Säpo, to SVT.
Wernstedt does not say whether there is a suspect or whether anyone has been detained.
