The gadget chain Clas Ohlson's sales in October increased to SEK 1,053 million, an increase of 8 percent compared to the corresponding month last year.

Currency effects reduced net sales by 2 percent, according to the company.

"In our two largest sales markets, Sweden and Norway, growth remains strong, but it is particularly pleasing that Finland is growing organically by a full 11 percent in October, which stands out positively in comparison with the historical trend," writes CEO Kristofer Tonström in a comment in a press release.
