The companies will "explore the possibilities for cooperation in areas such as drones, marine solutions and border surveillance systems", it says in a press release from Saab.
WB Group manufactures electronics and flight technology for the defense sector. The cooperation between the companies marks an "important step" in promoting strategic defense capabilities between Poland and Sweden, says Saab's CEO Micael Johansson in the press release.
"Within the framework of this, both companies will contribute with expertise and innovation to solutions that support national security", he continues.
In parallel, the government announces that Minister of Defense Pål Jonson (The Moderate Party) and his Polish counterpart Wladyslaw Kosiniak-Kamysz have signed a declaration of intent on military-technical cooperation between the countries.
