"Preliminary investigations indicate that it is a military drone of Russian origin," writes the country's Defence Minister Wladyslaw Kosiniak-Kamysz on X.
The drone has reportedly been "retrieved" from the Baltic Sea. The location and equipment are now being secured, according to Kosiniak-Kamysz.
Rusinowo is located along Poland's Baltic coast, about halfway between the cities of Świnoujście and Gdańsk. The discovery comes a day after a Russian drone hit a passenger train heading to the Polish capital Warsaw. The train, carrying several former European leaders, was hit on the Ukrainian side of the border.
