A Russian drone attack has caused a fire at a farm in the northeastern part of Ukraine. According to reports, the fire is said to have killed 13,000 pigs, reports AFP.

Images published show pig bodies stacked in cramped sheds, partially burned, some with the roof destroyed.

"About 13,000 pigs died as a result of a Russian attack on an agricultural enterprise in the Novovodolazka community in the Kharkiv region", writes Ukraine's state emergency service in a press release.

The pigs were kept in eight barn buildings on over 13,000 square meters, all of which burned down in the fire, added the emergency service.
