According to the plant's Russian management, the drone in the attack in Zaporizhia hit a turbine building and reportedly caused a hole in a wall. They said important nuclear equipment was not damaged.

The information was confirmed by the IAEA, which is observing the situation at the nuclear power plant.

"The IAEA team at the ZNPP has observed damage to the exterior of a turbine building that was reportedly subjected to a drone attack yesterday," the IAEA wrote in a statement, adding that no elevated radioactivity was measured.

The Russian state nuclear energy company Rosatom claims that it was a deliberate and targeted attack from Ukraine. Ukraine dismisses the accusations as a Russian "propaganda campaign."

"Along the relevant part of the front line, there was no active fighting at the time of the incident, and no weapons were used," Ukraine's military wrote in a statement.

Ukrainian drones are said to have hit an oil depot in southern Russia, far from the front lines of Russia's invasion.

A pumping station on an oil pipeline was hit in a separate drone attack, according to information from Kyiv.

Russian officials have confirmed the attacks.

The pumping station and pipeline that were attacked run from Siberia to western Russia and Belarus. The attack took place in the Kirov Region. The attacked oil depot is located in the Rostov Region.
