Russia lifts the terrorist stamp on the Islamist Taliban movement that rules in Afghanistan. This is reported by several Russian, state-controlled news agencies.
The decision has been made by Russia's highest court, a decision that has already been prepared in the Kremlin with the intention of creating friendly relations with Afghanistan's ruling extremist movement.
"The previously established ban on cooperation with the Taliban – including the federal list of organizations that have been labeled as terrorists – has been lifted through a decision by the Russian Federation's highest court", it is announced from Moscow according to the news agency Tass.
