The Malmö team defeated Kristianstad with 2–1. But in the final minute, Rosengård's Anni Kartikainen got the ball on her in her own penalty area and the Kristianstad team screamed for a penalty and surrounded the referee after the match to discuss the penalty situation.
It was not just one hand. It was two hands. But it's about creating more space than being dependent on a penalty situation, says Kristianstad's Amy Sayer in Viaplay.
It would have been nice to get that penalty kick.
Rosengård's Bea Sprung initiated the goal scoring with a dream volley.
A high ball comes and there's nothing else to do but shoot, says Sprung to Viaplay about her 1–0 goal.
It was nice to score the first goal (of the season).
Oona Sevenius extended to 2–0 at the beginning of the second half and Kristianstad's Beata Olsson reduced to 1–2 in the 75th minute.
It was an important win for us and we showed after the Hammarby match who we are. We as a team have a strong mindset and know that we don't need to be the strongest now at the beginning of the season but will grow during the season, says Sevenius to Viaplay.
Rosengård is fourth in the Damallsvenskan table after three wins and one loss. Kristianstad is tenth with three points earned.
