The reigning women's allsvenskan champion Rosengård is in eleventh place with 17 matches played. Now the club is taking action – and fires coach Joel Kjetselberg. He will be replaced by Martin Pringle's assistant coach Möller, who most recently comes from the task of coaching the Swedish U23 women.

”I didn't hesitate for a second when I got the question”, says Qvarmans Möller in a statement on Rosengård's website.

The 50-year-old is on site in Malmö and will attend the team's training on Tuesday, the club writes.

Qvarmans Möller has been training the U23 national team since 2021, and has previously, among other things, trained Sigtuna IF and been a player educator at Uppland's football association.

”There is an incredibly proud person here who has been given the opportunity to get one of the most attractive coaching assignments in Swedish football”, says Qvarmans Möller.

Joel Kjetselberg took over as head coach after Renée Slegers in 2023. Last season, Rosengård took a historic league gold with 25 wins and one loss in 26 matches.

This year, however, it has gone worse, and the team is four points from a qualifying spot. Rosengård is facing the upcoming round on six straight matches without a win.

”After dialogue between the parties, we have together agreed that the agreement between the club and head coach Joel Kjetselberg is hereby terminated”, writes the Skåne team about Kjetselberg's departure.

Next, Rosengård will meet AIK at home, which will be Qvarmans Möller's first match in the club.
