The Who's frontman Roger Daltrey is on his way to losing his sight. He revealed this during a charity concert at Royal Albert Hall in London.
The problem with this job is that you become deaf. And now I've been told that I'm going blind. Thank goodness I still have my voice, he said.
The rock legends played the first of two concerts on Thursday to benefit Teenage Cancer Trust when Daltrey opened up about his condition, reports NME.
It was Roger Daltrey who started the charity concerts for the cancer foundation in 2000, but announced last year that he is stepping down as its patron, and handing over the reins to The Cure's Robert Smith.
Daltrey, who turned 81 at the beginning of March, said to The Times last year that he "needs to be realistic" about his age and claimed that he is "on his way out".
