Herrey was popular in the Moderates' test elections and came in seventh place, but was placed in 14th place on the parliamentary list for next year's elections - which means little chance of getting into parliament.
It actually feels unnecessary and a bit sad, but I accept that it is what it is, but at the same time I protest and speak out and leave the party now that it is happening for the third time, he says.
After the Prime Minister, Herrey received the most personal votes of all moderates in Stockholm in the 2022 election. He also has a large following on Facebook.
He does not rule out getting involved in politics in the future and says that he agrees with many parties, including the Sweden Democrats, on various issues.
