Research into physical, biological and medical processes will be tested when the Suborbital Express 5 rocket is in weightlessness for more than six minutes.
"You're looking at effects that are usually not visible under gravity," says Stefan Krämer, program manager for Suborbital Express at the Swedish space company SSC.
Among the experiments on board is one from the island nation of Saint Kitts and Nevis.
"It's their first space mission. It's fantastic to support emerging space nations," says Stefan Krämer.
The launch of Suborbital Express 5 comes after almost three years of preparations.
