More reports of the recruitment of children and young people into crime have been received during May-July this year than last year, SR Ekot reports, citing police figures. The number of reports has increased by 20 percent.
Last year, there were 197 reports during the same period, compared with 240 this year.
Most of the reports concern cases from the Stockholm area.
Recruitment has taken place both digitally and in person, despite the police being reinforced ahead of the start of the summer holidays.
