The French car manufacturer Renault is now confirming its prognosis for 2025 – through a report that shows growth on a tough market during the first quarter of the year.

Renault's delivery volume increased by 2.9 percent to 564,980 cars during the period January-March, with the help of successes for electric car models such as R5.

The revenues, however, decreased by 0.3 percent, as a result of negative currency effects and inventory clearance among dealers.

Renault is one of the European car manufacturers that is least affected by the Trump administration's tariff shock, since the company does not sell cars in the USA, but instead focuses on Europe primarily.

During 2025, Renault plans to launch five new car models, including the electrically powered Renault 4 and Dacia Bigster.
