A total of 61,000 children across the country sold flowers for 124 million kronor, 17 percent more than last year.
That is higher than expected.
"It feels overwhelming and absolutely fantastic," says Majblomman's acting secretary general, Susanne Björneloo, in a press release.
The money is used to help financially vulnerable children. The children who sell receive ten percent commission and the group they sell with, for example the class, receives another ten percent.
Anyone who still wants to buy a flower can do so at some chain stores through June.
