Do you have a signed LP of Nirvana's breakthrough album "Nevermind" at home in the attic? In that case, it could be worth a small sum.
But perhaps not quite as much as the copy that went under the hammer at an auction in Wiltshire in southwestern England on Wednesday.
BBC reports that an "extremely rare" copy of "Nevermind" went for £18,600 – approximately equivalent to 240,000 Swedish kronor.
All three Nirvana members – the late singer Kurt Cobain, drummer Dave Grohl, and bassist Krist Novoselic – signed their autographs on the cover after a legendary performance at Bierkeller in Bristol.
Only 700 people saw Nirvana play that evening in 1991, which was due to Nirvana not yet having had their major international breakthrough.
