During Maundy Thursday, colder air will move in over Sweden with temperatures of 0–9 degrees.
In the northern mountains, it looks like there could be some snow at the beginning of the Easter weekend, says SMHI meteorologist Ida Dahlström.
In other parts of the country, the forecast is more uncertain. The extent of precipitation and the form it will take are unclear. During Easter Eve and Easter Day, a new low-pressure system is expected from the west. When milder air moves in over Götaland and parts of Svealand on Easter Day, precipitation is expected.
At the moment, it looks like there will be rain in the south and snow in the north, says Dahlström.
A stabilization of the weather is expected next week.
It's mostly warmer air coming in, actually.
