The Swedish national team star Lina Hurtig has been missing from Arsenal "for personal reasons". Now she is back in training with the team.

Hurtig writes on Instagram that she has handled personal problems and needed to be away from the pitch, but is very happy to be back and training with the team.

"A big thank you to all the players and staff for supporting me during this period. But the biggest thanks go to my family, without you I am nothing", she writes.

It was in April that Arsenal's coach Jonas Eidevall announced that Hurtig would miss the rest of the season. Since then, there has been silence about her.

Lina Hurtig has played 71 internationals for Sweden and 25 matches for Super League club Arsenal since she moved there in August 2022.

Hurtig has previously represented Juventus, Linköping, Umeå and Gustafs GoIF.
