The government's ambition is that the discount will apply to all season tickets for travel within Sweden. For travel between, for example, Sweden and Denmark, only the Swedish part of the reduction is included, Johan Britz (L), Minister of Labor and acting Minister for Climate and the Environment, clarifies.
The details of how the discount will be designed are not clear.
"With that said, the Liberals are clear that unemployed people from Scania should apply for Danish jobs to a greater extent. The cost of taking a job elsewhere - and in this case another country - should not stand in the way," he writes in a text message to TT.
