The situation in Mexico is tense after the murder of a cartel leader in a military operation in the western state of Jalisco on Sunday.
This has led to violence in several places in the country.
Mexican President Claudia Sheinbaum has announced that spectators have "full guarantees" of safety during World Cup matches in the country this summer.
"There is no risk in visiting Guadalajara, where violence is currently ongoing, in June," Sheinbaum said in a statement.
A total of 13 World Cup matches are scheduled for Mexico - including in Mexico City and Monterrey.
In March, playoff matches will also be played in Guadalajara between New Caledonia, Jamaica and Congo.
