A large operation is underway in the Gottfridsberg district of Linköping, the police write on their website. A man has been shot at, but not hit by any shots.
The alarm came shortly after midnight, when several loud bangs perceived as gunfire were heard in Gottfridsberg.
The police have initiated a preliminary investigation into attempted murder and serious weapons offenses. Several people have been taken in for questioning, but there is no one arrested or suspected of the shooting. The area is cordoned off and the police have secured several finds.
