The match between Nacka FC and Syrianska will decide which team stays in Division 2 Southern Svealand until next season.
"There is reason to believe that players or team officials have been subjected to attempted pressure ahead of the match - so-called undue influence," the police write on their website.
Stockholm Police Region and staff from the Swedish Football Association will be at the match to monitor the situation and prevent crime.
Based on the information we have, it is obvious to us that the match should go ahead. We do not know exactly what information the police have, but they have not recommended anything other than that the match should be played, says Johan Claesson, integrity officer at the Swedish Football Association.
Claesson says one of the teams playing on Sunday has been in contact with the association.
We are in dialogue with that club, he says.
Match-fixing can carry a fine or prison sentence.
