A deceased person has been found outdoors in Vårbygård south of Stockholm at 8.11 on Saturday morning, reports Aftonbladet.
The person was discovered by a passerby in a residential area.
Since we do not know how the person died or if there is any crime behind it, we have initiated a preliminary investigation into murder, says police spokesperson Per Fahlström to TT.
The person has not been identified yet and therefore the police do not want to provide any further information at present. The area has been cordoned off and the police are now investigating the incident further.
