As last year, there were dramatic scenes in several places in Paris, and other parts of the country, as supporters gathered to celebrate the French capital club's second CL title in two years. Around 20,000 people are reported to have gathered on the Champs-Élysées.

The wild celebrations resulted in clashes between police and supporters in several parts of the country. According to Interior Minister Laurent Nuñes, at least seven police officers were injured, one of them “quite seriously.”

"I regret these abuses, but they were unfortunately expected," he said at a press conference, according to BFM TV.

A total of 416 people have been arrested, Nuñes said. The worst was in Paris, where more than 280 people were arrested. According to police, cars, bus stops and shops have been destroyed around the city.

According to AFP, tear gas was fired at supporters after fireworks were thrown at police outside Parc des Princes.

According to Le Monde, a police station has been attacked.

Due to the unrest after last year's title, 22,000 police were deployed to monitor celebrations around the country. In Paris, several shopkeepers are reported to have barricaded windows and doors to prevent looting. In 2025, more than 200 people were injured when the celebrations turned violent, and hundreds were arrested.

PSG won Saturday's final against Arsenal on penalties at the Puskás Aréna in Budapest. The team is expected to hold a victory parade in front of an estimated 100,000 people on Sunday.

No changes will be made to tomorrow's festivities, Nuñes said.
