Over 100 kilos of narcotics were found in Umeå – a record-sized seizure for the city. Now, three men and one woman have been arrested, suspected of serious narcotics offenses, reports Västerbottens-Kuriren.
It was at the end of last week that the Customs Service found over 100 kilos of narcotics in Umeå. Never before has such a large seizure been made in the municipality.
This seizure far exceeds the limit for aggravated narcotics offenses. But what substances or exactly how much, I won't go into, says Martin Höglund, press secretary at the Customs Service, to VK.
The Customs Service does not disclose where the narcotics were discovered or where the three individuals were apprehended. According to VK, the seizure took place at the Umeå harbor.
One of the men and the woman are German citizens.
