It took a long time at Vångavallen, but when it finally happened, the shooting king stepped forward. With a clinical finish, Noah Christoffersson scored his 16th goal of the season – and paved the way for Örgryte's 2–0 win over Trelleborg.

Trelleborg, who are fighting for a new contract, received an Öis with the aim of retaking the first place in the table of Superettan.

The guests dominated the start but had difficulty converting the advantage into hot scoring opportunities. The first half only offered one shot on goal from the Gothenburg team.

The match looked long to end goalless, but in the 83rd minute, Christoffersson found the right spot with a well-placed shot. Shortly afterwards, Tobias Sana could puncture the match with 2–0. Three points and the league lead were thus back in Öis' possession.

Elsewhere, Västerås got a dream start away against Umeå. Already after seven minutes, Axel Taonsa placed 1–0 in the cross. The home team, however, fought their way into the match and eventually got a reward to 1–1.

The joy was, however, short-lived for Umeå. With a free kick of the highest class, Max Larsson elegantly scored 2–1 for VSK – a goal that would prove to be the decisive one.

Thus, Västerås are hanging on in the top struggle, now only two points behind Kalmar in second place and four points behind Öis.
