"The services have been down since 11:30. Troubleshooting is ongoing, but we have no forecast for when the error can be fixed," says Johan Persson, press secretary at the Swedish Tax Agency.
According to the authority, the fault lies with an external supplier, and the Swedish Election Authority and the Swedish Enforcement Authority are also affected. However, it is not believed to be a denial-of-service attack.
"We don't have any submissions right now, so it's nothing critical in that way, but it's of course in our interest that it works again," says Johan Persson.
