A man in his 80s has died after a workplace accident west of Uddevalla.
The accident occurred at lunchtime on Friday and was reported as an alarm about an overturned tractor with a person trapped. A few hours later, the police announced that the man had died from his injuries.
New information suggests that the man, in connection with a work task, was crushed by a tree, according to the police website.
The incident is classified as a workplace accident and is being investigated as manslaughter. There is currently no suspect.
