The body has not yet been identified, but relatives of the person living in the house have been notified, the police wrote on their website.
Police and emergency services were alerted to the fire on Friday morning, when it was burning with open flames. Ammunition inside the house was small-calibre and made extinguishing the fire difficult.
"There were gas cylinders and ammunition on the property. We managed to remove the gas cylinders that were in the basement. There were also gas cylinders outside the property," rescue leader Peter Karlsson told Nya Wermlands-Tidningen.
