Jonna Sundling is the favorite as Sweden's women's skiers chase another gold, and biathlete Sebastian Samuelsson aims for revenge. On Tuesday, Sweden has several chances to climb the Olympic medal table.

+ Chance of an all-Swedish podium in the sprint

Frida Karlsson and Ebba Andersson have already won gold and silver after Val di Fiemme was painted blue and yellow. In the sprint there are new gold opportunities as Jonna Sundling steps into her favorite distance together with three other Swedish skiers. On the men's side, the question is whether anyone can defeat the dominant Norwegian Johannes Høsflot Klæbo, who has won four out of four classic sprints in the World Cup.

+ Reigning Olympic champion steps in

When the Olympics opened, mogul skier Walter Wallberg was one of Sweden's flag bearers. Now the reigning Olympic champion enters the moguls qualification. On the women's side, Elis Lundholm is making her Olympic debut. The 23-year-old skier identifies as male but competes in the women's category and has not undergone any gender-affirming medical treatment.

+ Sebastian Samuelsson is chasing revenge

In the biathlon mixed relay, Sebastian Samuelsson's medal chances were immediately dashed when he incurred two penalty rounds. In the men's 20-kilometer distance race, Samuelsson gets a chance for revenge.
