Oliver Solberg failed to retain first place in the World Rally Championship and leaves Umeå second in the World Championship.

"This was my first race in a WRC Toyota on snow and ice, and the first time I was first on the road. I underestimated how difficult it was," he said in a press release.

Oliver Solberg came into the race as the number one in the World Championship, but a run into a ditch and a flat left tire resulted in a fourth-place finish, dropping him one spot in the overall standings.

The winner was Welshman Elfyn Evans, who thus also secured the lead in the overall World Championship standings.
