"There are no active discussions. At this time, we are not planning to deliver anything to China," says Jensen Huang.
"It's up to China to decide when they want Nvidia products to come back into the Chinese market. I look forward to them changing their policy and hopefully we will be able to be in the Chinese market again," he adds.
The statement was made in connection with a visit to contract manufacturer Taiwan Semiconductor Manufacturing, one of Nvidia's major subcontractors.
In an interview with the Financial Times earlier this week, Jensen Huang said that “China will win” the AI race with the US, which has raised eyebrows among many.
Nvidia is the world's most valuable company and the world's leading supplier of advanced chips for artificial intelligence.
