Managers and colleagues alerted that a nurse had stolen narcotic-classified medications from her workplace and also driven a car under the influence. Now she will undergo a three-year trial period to be allowed to keep her license, reports P4 Jönköping.
When she was confronted with the information, the nurse admitted that she had periodically stolen the preparations from her workplace over several years. When the abuse was discovered, the nurse chose to resign.
According to the decision of the Inspectorate for Health and Care (Ivo), the woman must, during the trial period, regularly submit, among other things, blood tests to be allowed to keep her license.
