The current association's chairman writes in a text message to Aftonbladet:
”As an association, we have a clear policy that we should not photograph inside the locker rooms.”
Some of the players who appeared on the pictures are minors, others are not older than 16 years.
The incident has been investigated by both the Swedish Sports Association and the special sports federation connected to the current sport this spring. This is confirmed by the national sports director of the special sports federation:
”We see very seriously about incidents that concern children's integrity and safety. It is completely unacceptable that photography takes place in locker rooms – especially when children and young people are involved. As soon as we became aware of the current case, we acted immediately.”
The leader, who is also the national team coach, describes how the guidelines were received with disappointment.
”Our students thought it was boring since several of the associations we meet have pictures and victory songs from the locker room, but we think it's good that we don't have it so no one takes offense. Many think it's natural to have only upper body in the locker room. Therefore, a bit of disappointment, but we stick to this.”
