The oil fund manager Nicolai Tangen says in an interview with Bloomberg that he has since 2022 "run around like a madman" and tried to convince his approximately 670 employees to use AI.

And now he has had enough and sketches a picture of what the future looks like within the oil fund for those who refuse AI.

It cannot be voluntary to use AI or not. If you do not use AI, you will never be promoted. You will not get a job, says Nicolai Tangen.

He has long been an eager advocate for the use of AI whenever possible.

The Norwegian oil fund manages assets worth 18,722 billion Norwegian kronor, according to the fund's website.
