The Glass Key award for the best Nordic crime novel of the year goes to Norwegian author Eva Fretheim for the book "Fuglekongen", which has not been published in Swedish.
Five Nordic authors were nominated for the award, including Carl-Johan Vallgren from Sweden with "Din tid kommer".
The Glass Key award was established by the Scandinavian Crime Society, but for many years it has been the Nordic crime societies in respective countries that jointly award it. Last year the award went to Swedish author Christoffer Carlsson for his novel "Levande och döda".
