After a goalless first half in Oslo, everything came loose for Norway at the beginning of the second half.
Alexander Sørloth headed in both 1–0 and 2–0. Erling Braut Haaland also used his head to make it 3–0 before pushing it up to 4–0 with a volley into the roof of the net.
The two attacking stars, who play for Atlético Madrid and Manchester City, scored a goal within just twelve minutes.
Estonia was of course a beaten team, even though a reduction came shortly after the 4–0 goal.
The crowd at Ullevål, just over 25,000 spectators, celebrated the continued qualifying success. Norway's advancement to next year's World Cup is all but assured - in that case, the first World Cup for the men's national team since 1998.
Italy can certainly come up on the same points in the fight for first place in the group. That would require an away win against Moldova later on Thursday evening and another three-pointer for the "Gli Azzurri" when Norway visits Milan on Sunday.
But Norway – with a goal difference of 33–4 so far in qualifying – has 19 goals to its credit on the Italians. In other words, a major upset is required if the Norwegians are to miss out on the World Cup.
