On Monday afternoon, some of the major airlines announced that some flights would resume, mainly for evacuations.
Overnight Tuesday, several flights were able to leave Dubai, and several more are planned from Abu Dhabi during the day. Among other things, Emirates expects to be able to fly to the UK, Germany and Russia.
However, there do not appear to be any flights to Sweden from the United Arab Emirates on Tuesday, according to flight information from Dubai and Abu Dhabi airports. Wednesday's planned flight from Dubai to Stockholm is also reportedly cancelled.
