U.S. WTI crude is up about 2.0 percent and is trading just under $97 per barrel, CNBC reports. North Sea oil is also up more than 2.0 percent to almost $108 per barrel.
Oil prices peaked earlier in April and March, when they were above $100 per barrel on several occasions. Before the U.S. and Israel attacked Iran in late February, oil was around $70 per barrel.
