A fire broke out during the night towards Monday in an apartment building in Emmaboda. The same house was also fire-damaged the night to Friday last week.
It is burning in the roof structure. They are ripping up the roof to get to extinguish everything, says Håkan Andersson, alarm operator at the rescue service, who confirms that it is the same building.
The fire has not spread to any apartments, but 17 people have been evacuated. No one has been reported injured.
We will investigate it as arson to be able to determine what started the fire, says the police's press spokesperson Evelina Olsson.
In the fire last week, one person was seriously injured. This incident is also being investigated as arson by the police.
