The region's public transport, X-trafik, is also affected, making it difficult to book transport services and medical travel.
This was announced by Region Gävleborg in a press release.
On Tuesday evening, Telia had extensive problems that, among other things, knocked out the police's national 114 14 number. Several hospitals in the Stockholm region went into emergency mode. The food giant Coop's payment system was also affected and stores were forced to close.
Telia then explained the problems as "a power failure" which was later fixed.
However, the new disturbances are isolated to Gävleborg, according to Roija Rafii, press spokesperson at Telia, who does not know if there is any connection.
"We are actively working with Region Gävle to investigate the disruptions they are experiencing now," she writes in a text message to TT.
