Around 10,000 turkeys must be put down after a new alarm about bird flu in Denmark.
The outbreak on the farm, which is located north of Viborg on Jutland, comes just over a week after another outbreak. Earlier in April, bird flu was detected on a farm on Zealand.
In December, the Danish Food Agency introduced a requirement that poultry raised must be kept in an enclosure and under a roof so that they cannot be infected by wild birds.
The requirement came after several birds that had died of bird flu were discovered.
